Senior Engineer/Geologist- Southern New England

Wilcox & Barton, Inc. is looking for a Senior Engineer/Geologist to work with our environmental team in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut! Ideal candidates will have professional licensure as a Professional Engineer, Professional Geologist, Massachusetts LSP, and/or Connecticut LEP, or will be ready to apply for licensure within 1 to 2 years.

Wilcox & Barton, Inc. supports a work from home/anywhere business model and has been doing so for more than 20 years. We offer tremendous flexibility and diversity of project types. We currently manage more than 100 regulated sites in southern New England. The successful candidate will have a working knowledge of both Federal and state (e.g. MA or CT or RI) environmental regulations, industry-wide standard operating procedures, and best management practices.

The Senior Engineer/Geologist will be a Project Manager in our Environmental Services Group. You will be responsible for the daily coordination and management of environmental staff and will collaborate with other teams throughout the company. You will also develop cost estimates, prepare proposals, and manage clients. Involvement in professional organizations (e.g., LSPA, EBC) is a plus.

Skills: We seek intelligent, pro-active, energetic, and dynamic self‑starters with great communication skills. Candidates will have comprehensive knowledge MS Office software products and should have or be applying for professional licensure (PE, CT LEP, NH PG, or MA LSP). Experience with Deltek project management and financial programs, and/or experience with more than one state regulatory programs is a plus.

Education/Experience: We are building a strong and diversified team with varying levels of experience. We will consider all applicants with a BS or MS in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology, or Earth Science.
