Civil Engineering for Margaritas Restaurant
Time
was of the essence to get this 500-seat restaurant reopened when Wilcox &
Barton, Inc. responded to an emergency water main break that closed Margaritas without warning. We promptly
visited the site, evaluated the situation, and performed an existing conditions
survey of the maze of utilities entering the building that were undermined by
the water main break.
Wilcox
& Barton, Inc. creatively designed a new grease trap and a dual 2-hp pump
sewer pump station to fit within the small, constrained footprint of the front
yard. We also upgraded the force main. We prepared final plans,
construction details and technical specifications for construction of the proposed
improvements. We coordinated with the City Engineering Services
department and health inspector to expedite construction approval.
During construction, we were on-site to observe construction and address unforeseen conditions in a timely manner.
